New 50 EURO Carries a KINEGRAM® Foil from KURZ
Fuerth/Germany, 04/04/2017: The European Central Bank has released into circulation the new 50 Euro banknotes of the 'Europa' series.
In an attempt to thwart the high levels of counterfeiting of this denomination, the new banknotes are equipped with some of the most sophisticated security features available in the banknote industry. Among these is a die-cut window with a KINEGRAM REVIEW® foil stripe from KURZ applied over the window area.
The same feature is also used in the new 20 Euro banknotes released in November 2015, and was called a 'quantum leap in security' by ECB's Mario Draghi.
KURZ is extremely proud to contribute to the security and attractivity of the new Euro banknotes.
